Our Preschool
Discovery Preschool is a small 30 licensed whānau oriented centre that provides a warm, rich and stimulating educational programme for children aged 2-5 years old.
The kaiako believe in encouraging and extending children’s learning and development and preparing them for school. At Discovery Preschool, we value relationships and take great pride in providing an individual learning programme that supports children holistically in a socio-cultural and inclusive environment.
The wider world of family and community is an integral part of our curriculum. We strive to be a warm and welcoming centre where whānau and tamariki feel included. We see the value in developing a partnership with our whānau to help tamariki reach their full potential.
We are open Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 4.00 pm, except for statutory holidays and a short break over Christmas and New Year’s.
